Q. Can you use LadderMate between 2nd & 3rd rungs (to bridge over porches, conservatories, etc) on level ground?

A. Yes. See the User Guide for a full explanation. For sideways sloping ground, it is important to emphasise that the ladder must be levelled in a safe manner, i.e. not by pushing a crushed Coke can under the stile! Just to re-iterate that LadderMate must only ever be used between 2nd & 3rd rungs where the ground behind the ladder is higher than where the ladder is in contact with the ground and that the 1:4 ratio with the horizontal must be maintained.
