Q. Does using LadderMate mean that we donít have to bother with any other safety measures?
Q. Will it stop sideways slip.
A. The prime purpose is to prevent outward slip, the major cause of ladder accidents. However, it is
apparent that whereas a ladder on itís own forms a very small, narrow base ( that between the bottom of
the stiles) with LadderMate fitted, a much bigger base in the shape of a trapezium is formed. This will
create a measure of enhanced sideways stability.
